Our Story

When TheHolyOne.Church started in 2015, we gathered together
in an Automotive Shop Office.

Today, TheHolyOne.Church is a diverse group of people meeting in
San Antonios and around the world online.

We love to gather, but we know it’s not just about getting
together. Church is more than a place to go. It’s who we are as
followers of Christ.

Our Directional Leadership Team works together to shape the vision and direction of TheHolyOne.Church.

Ruben Cortez

Founder & Senior Pastor
Ruben provides teaching, leadership, and guidance for the church as a whole. Following a vision God gave him and his wife, Monica, for a different kind of church, he and a handful of people launched TheHolyOne.Church in 2015.

He and Monica live in the San Antonio, Texas area and have four children.
