What happens to my money when I give to TheHolyOne.Church?
When you give to TheHolyOne.Church, God does something amazing!

He multiplies your gifts and does more with it than any of us could ask or imagine.
Your tithe becomes part of God’s plan to resource the local church to do His work here on earth.

He also allows you to be a part of all He is doing in your community and around the world through Local and Global Mission Partners.

Is Life.Church a 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization?
TheHolyOne.Church is a U.S. not-for-profit and meets the tax-exempt requirements of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Should I give to the tithe or a specific area?
When you tithe, you’re trusting God with your finances.

- Tithing is a biblical principal. God calls us to give the first 10% of our income back to Him. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances.

- In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him.

God created you with a generous spirit. We want to help you embrace it by giving beyond your tithe with an offering to one of these causes.

Giving History and Annual Giving Statements

Where can I find my giving history?
On the TheHolyOne.Church Website

- Log into your account and click Giving. Your Giving History will be available on the Giving screen.

In the TheHolyOne.Church App

- Tap the Giving icon.
- Tap more “•••” at the top.
- Tap Giving History.
- If you can’t see your Giving History, be sure you’re logged in with the correct email address and have the desired year selected.
- If you’re using the app, make sure it’s up to date.
- If you’re still having trouble, contact the Giving Team at office@theholyone.church or 210-835-6448.
How can I get my annual giving statement?
- Access your giving history and annual giving statements anytime by logging into your TheHolyOne.Church account on the TheHolyOne.Church website or in the TheHolyOne.Church app.
- If your giving profile includes a current U.S. mailing address and is set to receive paper statements, your annual giving statement will be mailed by January 31 of the following calendar year.
- If you need help getting a copy of your giving statement or have questions about your giving history, please contact the Giving Team at office@theholyone.church or 210-835-6448.
How can I update my personal information?
- Update your name, date of birth, TheHolyOne.Church location, email, and phone number using your TheHolyOne.Church account or in the TheHolyOne.Church app.
- Update your mailing address at www.theholyone.church/profile.
- If you don’t have a TheHolyOne.Church account, please contact the Giving Team at office@theholyone.church or 210-835-6448.

Ways to Give

What are the ways I can give?
There are many ways to give at TheHolyOne.Church.

- Cash and checks can be given at TheHolyOne.Church location.
- Give digitally through credit or debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and your bank account.
- You can also give stocks or cryptocurrency anytime.

What’s the difference between recurring and one-time gifts?
Recurring Giving

- Recurring Giving is the tool we use to schedule your gifts to process on a regular basis.
- When you set up a recurring gift through TheHolyOne.Church, you’re choosing to consistently invest in the life-change that happens here.
- Recurring Giving Options:
- Weekly
- Bi-Weekly (every two weeks from start date)
- 1st & 15th
- Monthly

One-Time Gifts

- A One-Time Gift is a single gift that only processes when you initiate or schedule it.
- One-Time Gifts can be given immediately or scheduled for a future date but will only process once.
How can I manage my recurring giving?
On the TheHolyOne.Church website:

- Go to www.life.church/give and log into your account.
- Click Giving Menu.
- Click “Manage Giving”
- Recurring gifts will appear in the “Manage Giving” section.

In the TheHolyOne.Church App:

- Tap the Giving icon.
- Tap “•••” at the top of your screen.
- Recurring gifts will appear in the “Manage Giving” section.

Update a Payment Method for Recurring Gifts

On the “Manage Giving” page:

- Select the recurring gift.
- Click “Select Payment Method”
- Choose or add a new payment method at the top of your screen.

Still need help?

- If your recurring gift isn’t showing, make sure you’re logged in with the correct email address and using the most current version of the TheHolyOne.Church app.
- If you can view your recurring gift but can’t make edits, it’s possible the gift was created by another member of your household. Recurring giving can only be managed using TheHolyOne.Church account used to create it.
- If you still can't see your recurring giving, please contact the Giving Team at office@theholyone.church or 210-835-6448.
How can I give by check?
- Checks can be given at any TheHolyOne.Church location or by mail using our Central Office address below.
- Please make checks payable to TheHolyOne.Church.

How can I give through my Individual Retirement Account (IRA) or Donor-Advised Fund?
- For information about giving through an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) or Donor-Advised Fund, please contact the Giving Team at office@theholyone.church or 210-835-6448.

Manage Payment Methods

How can I save a new payment method?
A new payment method can be added using the TheHolyOne.Church website or the TheHolyOne.Church app.

On the TheHolyOne.Church website:

- Log into your account and click “Giving.”
- Navigate to the “Manage Payment Methods.”
- Click “Add” and choose the preferred payment method.
- Fill in the information and click “Done.”

In the TheHolyOne.Church App:

Tap the Giving icon.
- Tap “•••” at the top of your screen.
- Tap “Manage Payment Methods.”
- Tap “+Add a New Payment Method” and choose the preferred type of payment method.
- Fill in the information and tap “Done.”
How can I update my payment method?
- If you don’t have a recurring gift and only the card expiration date has changed, navigate to the “Manage Payment Methods” screen using the TheHolyOne.Church website or the TheHolyOne.Church app to select the card and save the new expiration date.
- Use the same steps above to add a nickname to a payment method.
Why did I receive an error when I tried to remove my payment method?
- The unwanted payment method might be linked to a recurring gift. A payment method cannot be removed while being used with an active gift.

- Before the payment method can be removed, a new one needs to be linked to the recurring gift or the recurring gift needs to be deleted.
